Pecans are a delicious superfood that can help you improve your health and watch your weight. It’s no wonder the entire month of April is dedicated to this nutritious nugget. We're celebrating by hosting our annual Royalty Pecans Recipe Challenge every spring, ending on April 30th. We challenge you to think outside the pie and send us creative pecan-infused recipes!

Recipe highlights the healthy side of pecans.

• Best Appetizer or Entree: $50 Gift Card

Recipe features pecans in a creative non-dessert dish.

• Special Ingredient Challenge: $75 Gift Card

In addition to pecans, recipe features one or more Royalty Pecan Farms® products. Possible ingredients for this category include our Natural Pecans, Pecan Delicacies (flavored pecans, granola, toffee, biscotti, etc.), and Gourmet Specialty Products (pecan oil, jams and preserves, salsa, pecan butter, canned and pickled gourmet, coffee, etc.).

Contest Terms

To be valid, your entry MUST include your name, email address, mailing address, and a recipe that includes pecans. No purchase necessary to enter or win. All ages and skill levels may enter. No limit on number of entries per person. Photos are not required, but they are encouraged and may increase your chances of winning. Entries can be submitted on our website, by email, by mail, or in person at our gift shop on Highway 21 between Bryan/College Station and Caldwell, one mile west of the Brazos River (get directions). Entries must be received by 11:59 pm (CST) on Thursday, April 30, 2016. Judges' decisions are final. Judges are not required to provide feedback to contestants. One winner in each category will receive a gift card redeemable at either the Royalty Pecan Farms gift shop or online shop. If ordering by phone, winners must mention unique gift card number at time of purchase. By submitting an entry, you agree to let us use your recipe in any way we choose and add your contact information to our database. We will never share or sell your contact information.
